Pastor Joshua and Natasha Knouf
Pastor
Pastor Knouf was raised in a preacher's home and was saved at the age of 5. He started attending Lakewood Baptist Temple when he was 17 and met his future wife Natasha in the youth group. They both attended Heartland Baptist Bible college in 2001 and graduated in 2005. They were married July 23rd of that same summer and also came on staff at LBT that year. Pastor Knouf served as the Youth Director, and choir Director from 2005 until 2014 when he was given the call to become the senior pastor of the church. Pastor and his wife have five children.
Edgar and Kelsey Mendez
Spanish Pastor
Bro Edgar Mendez was saved at a young age and started attending the Spanish ministry at LBT as a teenager. He met His wife Kelsey here at LBT. Kelsey started attending the LBT youth group as teenager and was saved shortly after that. They were married in 2014 and soon after, accepted God's call to move to Saint Cloud Florida where Edgar began to help start a new Spanish ministry. In 2021 God called Pastor Edgar and his wife back to Lakewood Baptist Temple to help their home church start up a new Spanish ministry. Both Pastor Edgar and his wife Kelsey are passionate about serving the Lord, and want to see the Spanish speaking people of Lakewood reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Rigo and Jurnee Mendez
Youth Pastor
Bro Rigo was saved at a young age, and grew up in attending the Spanish Ministry at Lakewood Baptist Temple. He attended Heartland Baptist Bible college in 2016 and graduated in 2019. It was there that he met his future wife Jurnee McGregor. They were married in 2019 and joined the staff team at LBT in 2020. Both Rigo and his wife Jurnee have a love and a burden to work with youth, and desire to see them grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
